Sooo...I see that we have some new members. Huzzah! But...
...there are no new roleplays << Baaaad people. I've been thinking of starting a roleplay myself, but I would like to make sure there'll be someone interested in joining if I do ^^;; So...what kind of roleplays would people like to see? Unfortunately, I don't do anime, or movies, or books, etc...just haven't seen enough ^^;;
...the one exception to that is if anyone has read Hawksong, by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes <3 I would love to do a roleplay of that...
-cough- Anyways. Someone inspire me!

x3 Hiya! Haven't formally met you so, here’s a “hi!” Nice t’meet you. =3 …though, I may be one of those “bad people” considering I haven’t done very well on the rping part. ^_^; Eh…
Anyhoo, I’d totally be willing to join up an rp if you started one. Cuz, like, it’s almost break for me and I’m going to be bored out of my flippin’ mind. And yeah. And I’m blabbin’ for no apparent reason. And here’s what I’m interested in, just to give you ideas: Anything save basically what you said and real life sorta stuff (i.e. high school and that she-bang)
Whoo, I’m a help. Um…hmm… I don’t have any plot ideas at the moment and nothing really strikes me that would be exceptionally interesting to rp. And unfortunately I haven’t read the book. Sorry. >:
So yeah. ^^; Just wanted to tell ya I’m in for whatever!

Ah, well ^^;; No one else that I know online has, either, except for one online friend I bullied into reading it B)
What about vampire/slayer/werewolf rps? ^^;; Those tend to be the ones I do best at making plotlines with; I actually have one idea right now...
My second favorite type of roleplay is medieval fantasy, although I haven't the foggiest of what a plotline for that one would be ^^;;
Oh! And I've been meaning to try a faery roleplay =D Like...like Tithe or Valiant by Holly Black, if you've happened to have read either of those books ^^;; If not, that's fine, I can summarize the setting I'd like to plagarize n_n;;
Other than those, feel free to suggest something =3 I can probably find something to do with almost anything, it'll just take me a bit longer ^^;; Also, as a warning; be prepared for detail overload about the setting ^^;; I like to have a pretty good idea of what kind of world my character grew up in before I start a roleplay...

xD Vampy/lycan rps are actually what I lurff the most. At the moment though, I'm in and have been in a vampire/lycan rp for about eh...two years and I'm not sure if I want to start another one. Just because I don't like mixing characters or histories or whatnot.
...then again, take that back, I can always try different characters or ...yeah, nevermind, I'd be up for that! x3 Gah, I'm such a goof.
I also usually play a lycan if that makes any difference. -twirls-
As for any other, sounds good, though I haven't read the books, sorry. >x All the books I've been reading tend to sway towards classics and textbooks. Ergh.
As for details, more power to you. =D The posts I've been posting..are...like eheh (I lurrrrve you Cindy!xD) really small compared to what I usually post. Not that I perfer one over the other, just saying I like to babble my details alot too sometimes. =3
And yeah. :3 And Happy B-day! ...at least that's what the board's saying. ^_^;

^^;; The board is correct. Y muchas gracias =3 I'm eighteen now...so old! D:
Okeh. My vampy plot works best if your character is a Slayer-type person, but don't try to shoehorn your lovely little wolf-person into a role they don't really fit. If this doesn't work, babble at me about your beautiful brain-child, and I'll think up something that fits their personality/history/etc better.
The setting would be the general 'secret vampire vs. everybody else war'. One vampire, however, (my charrie) has decided to try to start a vampire-everyone else alliance, of sorts --he/she (I haven't figured out which character I want to use) is looking for a Slayer to whisper names and places to, of the real offenders against humans and lycans. Of course, this partnership would bring problems, since the two races are supposed to hate one another n___n
My other vauge plotline comes with my vampiress, Kvalia ^^;; See, she's trying to find someone to kill her creator, but if he finds out she's misbehaving, he'll give her to a demon he knows for breaking. So...that puts a lot of strain on any sort of relationship <3 And there are a number of ways to start that roleplay, to add little twists and whatnot...one idea I've been toying around with for a story is that she's sent to eliminate this clan of Weres who are...I dunno, causing trouble, encroaching on her master's illegal businesses...and she spares the life of one of better fighters in return for a promise to kill her master. Anyways.
As for medieval-type roleplays...it's easier if I just post what I have saved ^^;;
Oh. But I always like to throw in the twist of two countries with a history of warfare who are starting a tentative peace between the countries...because that can lead to so many things B) Culture clash, intrigue, mistrust and/or prejudice, grudges...all sorts of fun stuff. For the sake of brevity, I'll call these two countries Antierra and Cedana.
...and there are so many spin-offs of things to do with parallel Faery worlds, or two countries with rocky pasts trying to make peace. If you have a particular character you'd like to use, by all means, tell me about them, and I can try to create a plot that focuses more on the personal issues of the characters, or has wide-reaching political implications, or is set more in one social class than another, or, or...I dunno. A classic quest-thing, even x3 I bet I could make an interesting one...
...-coughs- oo;; So, how are you holding up under the onslaught of words?
On a completely random note, Deathnote is awesome <3

First things first! :3
Heyhey, I'll be 18 next month so don't be calling anyone old! x3
Deathnote rocks my socks on so many levels. : D!
And you remind me so much of one of my bestest rp buddies Pyrin. Don' worry, it's a good thing. She's one for plots and twists. x3
And that onslaught of words was heaven, thank you. xD
NOW! to business! :3
Weee. You're too cool. :3 Seriously, I haven't had this much fun thiking of your plots and ideas and what characters to use and blahblahblah. Yeh. I'm happeh. :3
Well, how 'bout I tell you about one character I might use for either genre and then you pick for which one might work best?
(And, just on the side, keep in mind that I double and triple and quadruple characters, so yeh. :3)
Vampy/lycan Genre: Lish(lycan):This is a character I usually play as a kid, but if I play him as an adult he's much different. Kid-wise (eww, bad English ;3) he's a hyper-active little turd, that's good spirited, innocent and most definately a protagonist. He's not got much of a history, save he's part of a clan and whatnot. Adult-wise something bad happened (not sure quite what...but we could work that out eh?) and Lish's not the same. He's a snide, bad-ass loner lycan. He kills humans out of spite rather than food. He's not so nice and is kind of on the fence as to whether he's good or bad.
Fantasy: DARN IT I FORGOT HIS NAME: ...um yeah. I had this really cool character that I used for this huge mass rp...and I can't find him, but I could remember him! He's a blind drow assasin with a hawk companion. Sounds cliche...but ergh, he was neat. I wish I could remember more. He's a banished drow...uses arrows. Um, he's usually paid highly for his work. Has a bit of dark magic in his blood. And yeah... he's not sounding promising darn him. ...ergh. -racks brain-
And yeah. There you go. x3 Hope that helps some. I dunno. You tell me.

AHHHH!...I'm so sorry for disappearing V.V But, Christmas caught up to me, and I had two days to make six kinds of candy, plus wrap things, etc... @@ I.e., I'm a bad procrastinator ^^;; But I think I'm back now.
Vampy/Lycan: Yes, I think we could arrange something bad to happen >:3...maybe Kvalia comes to kill Lish's father and/or family for some sort trangression against Raud? And then they meet again later? If he appears to her to be a good fighter, she might try to get him to kill Raud...either way, that second meeting is bound to be an interesting one B) Maybe Lish was hunting for her ever since she executed people dear to him.
Fantasy: Hmmm...the only medieval fantasy plot I have already put together that includes an assassin is this one:
Although, I have a futuristic fantasy plot we could probably adapt to medieval fantasy...it might be something like this:
I'm not quite sure how your Drow assassin would fit in a faery roleplay. I could have him be the first nonhuman my character (Aria ^^;; ) meets, but it would take a lot of manuevering and intrigue to give him a reason to stick around with her, or vice versa D:
....so! n____n What do you think?

You know what's really weird? I have Lish in another rp, where he's...eh, 18ish I think and his father did die and that's why he's all rawrish. Crazy-ness. x3 And, eck, I'm sorry I dropped off the face of the planet for awhile there. >_o I'm...slow during holidays. Just know that I do keep tabs and I will /eventually/ get here. ^^;;; You have an excuse. Candy making and holidays are fun and worthwhile! :3 Um.....both so very interesting. x3 I just don't know which. It would be sort of cool to do a lycan/vampy one. One, it would help me to build Lish's history a bit. And such. On the other hand, again with the mixing up my facts and histories. ><;; I dunno! Then again... The fantasy one sounds fun too! And it seems you've got quite an extensive plot and setting all lined up. ^^ Either one sound cool. (I am so not any help ><) And as for him being Aria's first nonhuman encounter, I could always just have him be human. Besides, it's not like I've really made him concrete, or used him much. (...considering I can't even remember his name...) But yeah. Gah! I dunno! You pick! You started the thread! I'm cool with whatever! (I'm horrible too! ) =3 Edit: After much deliberating, or rather, much feeling bad about not making a choice, I decided that I'd prefer to do the fantasy genre. From there, you pick. Sound ok? And if not, I could still swing towards vampy. :3

Gah! I'm sorry for disappearing! ^^;; I had three college apps due the 1st and 2nd, and then I had two test to study for @o;;...all in all, a bad week ^^;; But I'm back.
O-kay! Fantasy roleplay it is n___n Next set of questions!
Do we want the Drow to be the Evil Empire here? So that your Guy is kinda an outcast all-around? If not, then the race I'd originally made up for the Evil Empire were a race of shape-shifters called the Volkarans (country's name is Volkar).
How common is magic? Roughly, how does it work? (I.e., power you channel with your thoughts, does it need gestures and objects, etc.) How common are non-humans? Maybe each Hegemony kingdom is made up of a different race? Or are there other far-distant countries of nonhumans, making nonhumans rather rare?
Umm...I think those are the most important things I need to know before I can make an intro ^^;; And I'm assuming this is medieval fantasy, i.e., all swords and bows and sparkly explosive magic spells.

Ahahahaaa...I love this. x3
Um, well if ya wanna keep it Drow, just to throw off the human characters, than I don't mind my character being an outcast at all. Originally, I did have him as one, so yay. :3 Let's make the Evil Empire Drow then.
My character personally is only vaguely in-tune with his magic, but ...magic can be a sort of "gifted" thing. Like, a small population of all races have the ability to use magic, while some races more than others have a better ability at it (i.e. maybe the drow, seeing that they're dark elves, or whatever magic related races....assuming we're having multiple races-I'll talk more about that later...) I'd think the magic would work in varying ways, according to the races. For example, the drows would be able to say, channel their magic, or in more ethereal ways than say, other races. For more human-like races, they could rely more on objects etc. with a little help from their weaker, inner magic. ...sorta see what I'm thinking?
More 'ethereal magic' races could be far more rare than less magic inclined races. I think that'd be cool. It'd be fun to play different species. x3 And, the political things you could do with it...
"OMG he has a tail, get him away from my child!"
">_>;; ...piss off..."
Yeeeah. x3 And I agree with medieval fantasy. Getting shanked with daggers all the way. xD
Edit: Lawlllll. I remembered his name and his character finally. xD His name is Amon, and he has a hawk named Alios who is his eyes. ...and stuff. -shrug- x3
Edit: Fwwaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Ok, ok, I gotta tell ya this. x3 This may change a few things, but I have a different character that I think would fit perfectly into this sort of plot! I'll give you the details later, for now I've gotta scram. Just wanted to make note. x3

...okay, glad you're so excited xD I think I've got all the info I need here...oh! If you're using this other character, are the Drow still the antagonists? Just out of curiosity...
Mostly, this was just a post to say that I haven't forgotten this, I've just been caught up in schoolwork ^^;; My economics teacher has been assigning a million pages to read in the textbook, which takes forever...
...mainly because I keep falling asleep ^^;; Anyways. I should have an intro for you friday or saturday.

xD Yes, sorry...seems whenever I post I'm in an unusually hyper active mood.
Anyhoo, I'll just keep Amon, the drow. Another character of mine would work, but maybe I can incorporate him later in the story. :3
So yesh, the Drow still are the antagonists.
And...yeah. No worries on postin'. Anytime is fine. Sorry that you've got the homework piling up. xP That's never too fun...
